Dr. Alexis Goth
Becoming the Architect & the Alchemist of your own life
I have been practicing diverse primary care since 2006, after completing my training as a family doctor.
After experiencing my own burnout in 2012, I began searching for healing — to ease my chronic body pain, dietary sensitivities, IBS, daily headaches, depression, and allergies.
I wanted to understand why my body had become so sensitive. I longed to quiet my incessant overthinking, rumination, and mood swings. Deep down, I knew something vital was missing — from both my personal wellness and my medical training. My upbringing and education hadn’t prepared me for this kind of healing.
I believed there was more to discover. The deeper I looked, the more I realized how little I truly knew.
Through my own recovery, I became captivated by integrative and functional medicine — how we are systems within systems, constantly seeking balance.
I studied under Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona, completing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2015. In 2016, I began training in Functional Medicine and will complete my certification in the summer of 2025. I developed a whole-person approach to healing complex medical conditions while working at the Integrated Chronic Care Service under NSHA. Over time, I recognized how unconscious, deeply rooted belief structures — often formed in childhood — keep chronic physiological patterns alive. Psychedelic medicine can help us witness and release these patterns. To explore this further, I trained in psilocybin, ketamine, and MDMA-assisted psychotherapy.
I’ve applied lifestyle medicine, food as medicine, cellular and systems biology, and psychedelic medicine to my own health. I try to foster an internal atmosphere of welness, allowing my DNA to express patterns of balance rather than chronic activation. As my own system finds regulation, I am able to hold a wider space for healing — extending this grounded, compassionate energy to my clients.
In 2023, I founded Holos Integrative Health — a lifelong dream to create a clinical healing center where clients can better understand themselves and feel empowered on their healing journey.
By observing and deeply listening, I’ve honed my ability to recognize patterns, associations, and tendencies. I’ve cultivated a strong, intuitive sense. With each new client, I sit in dedicated meditation to “listen” and feel what I’m meant to learn and witness from them. If they are curious, I work with the guidance of astrology and Tarot.
I act as a mirror — blending their objective data with their personal story. I focus on their goals and aim to deeply understand their current experience in both mind and body. From there, I integrate my evidence-based clinical knowledge with data-driven investigation and intuitive guidance.
Each client receives a highly individualized, empowering care plan that unfolds in thoughtful, compassionate phases.
Every phase involves small, consistent steps — rooted in kindness to self, and gentle discipline. We invite some things in and release others. We explore functional medicine testing when needed, tend to each body system, optimize nutrition and cellular health, reduce toxins (in all forms), eliminate triggers, and nurture resilience — preparing the body and mind for lasting, meaningful change.
With each shift, we create more space for the authentic self to emerge.
All practices are evidence-based, and all behavior change follows a paced neuroplasticity model — creating sustainable transformation, one step at a time.
